INFLUENTIAL FACTORS ON THE BRAKING FORCE INTENSITY DURING FORCE CONTROL ON A DEVICE WITH ROTARY ROLLERS

Abstract:
Abstract: This paper analyzes the braking force on a tester device with rotary rollers for checking and control of the braking force of cars under conditions of static testing. There have been considered the influential factors of tester device on braking force with experiment plan of 3^3 form. Variable factors: the car wheel diameter, the rotary roller diameter and the axial distance of rotary rollers have been changed on three levels. A mathematical model of the braking force of front and rear wheels has been created. Results show aberrations between the front and rear braking force to 10% of force intensity. Due to differences in design characteristics of tester device and different diameters of car wheels, there are some differences in the results of breaking force test. They belong to the structural errors and they are inevitable in the testing process. This shows that the performance of comparative tests for different testing devices is feasible and that the testing results are comparable. Applying the created mathematical model, it is possible to compare performances of different tester devices with rotary rollers for braking force control in a very short time.
